Founded on Oahu in 2012, Mahiku is a premium activewear and lifestyle brand committed to style, comfort and quality. Mahiku was born when the founder, Ehiku Rademacher drew on her 20 years of experience as a native Hawaiian water women and competitive athletes to craft the perfect workout pant in the Kini capri. A precision low to mid rise cut, created from Mahiku's exclusive quick dry materials and infused with eye catching bright prints, the Kini prototype was a standout in a sea of cotton workout gear and unique in its ability to be worn both in the water and on land.

Mahiku is bringing their unprecedented sensibilities to an expanded line of their trademark two tone Hybrid pant, women's tops, bikini bottoms, accessories and menswear.

About the founders

Designer, athlete, wife, mother and Mahiku®  founder, Ehiku Rademacher started surfing when she was just a toddler on the front of her mother’s board. A native Hawaiian, Ehiku started canoe paddling at the age of 12, whilst surfing and body boarding the famous waves of the North Shore, sparking a lifelong passion for the sport and the ocean.

Ehiku was introduced to SUP in 2006 whilst living in Malibu with her husband Ingo and her two children. SUP, a perfect combination of canoe paddling and surfing, allowed Ehiku to ditch the wetsuit in the waters of Point Dume and get back into a bikini. Inspired by her new sport and lifestyle, Ehiku recognized a need for specialized activewear in the SUP community.

SUP racing since 2011, Ehiku most recently placed 2nd in the 12’6 division of the Xcel Race Against Skin Cancer in Waikiki and is currently an Elite Rider for Yoloboard.

Raised in Australia, Ingo Rademacher, an award-winning international actor, photographer, waterman and competitive SUP athlete brings over 20 years of experience in the fashion, sports and entertainment industries to Mahiku. Ingo is best known for playing the lead role of Jax on the ABC daytime drama General Hospital and his recent top five placement on season 16 of Dancing with the Stars. He is avid about nature preservation and a supporter of Greenpeace. Ingo is also an Elite Rider for Yoloboard and a passionate ambassador for the sport of SUP, recently becoming a spokesperson for the WPA (World Paddle Association). No stranger to the podium, Ingo has won several local races on Oahu taking the overall win and has competed in the famed Molokai 2 Oahu 32 mile race 3 years in a row. Ingo also designs his own custom YOLO SUP boards and the soon to be launched Mahiku® Mens line. A true Renaissance man, Ingo imbues his artistic and athletic talents in every aspect of Mahiku
